For Giacometti, production is the privilege of working with materials by hand and the freedom to explore artisanal skill as a creative language. Each piece is crafted in Italy, in the Venetian hinterland, where experienced artisans shape fine furs and selected materials through precise, deliberate processes.

From core collections to bespoke creations, Giacometti offers a flexible and refined production approach, capable of responding to different project requirements while preserving material integrity, craftsmanship, and contemporary design values.

Materials

Giacometti brings its vision to life through material research and tactile sensitivity. An essential part of every creation, fine furs and selected textiles — including mink, fox, shearling, lamb, and cashmere — are carefully sourced and shaped by hand through artisanal processes.

Alongside noble materials, Giacometti embraces regenerated vintage furs and surplus stocks, giving new meaning to existing resources. A conscious approach where heritage, craftsmanship, and sustainability converge, transforming material into contemporary living objects.

Sustainability

Guided by a conscious and responsible approach, Giacometti’s commitment to sustainability goes beyond materials alone. The atelier works primarily on a made-to-order basis, avoiding overproduction and unnecessary stock, ensuring that each piece is created with a clear purpose. By using regenerated vintage furs and carefully selected surplus materials, Giacometti gives new life to existing resources.

Crafted to endure, each blanket is conceived as an object to be lived with and passed down through generations.
